Missouri: Cash For Appliances Rebate Program

Missouri's State Energy-Efficient Appliance Rebate Program, commonly known as Cash for Appliances, began April 19, to coincide with the state’s Energy Star sales tax holiday.
The state is offering mail-in rebates that will help residents replace older appliances with new Energy Star appliances.
To receive a rebate, consumers must buy the appliances at “participating” retail locations. Residents must also provide proof of recycling or haul away of the replaced, older appliances to receive the rebates.
Missouri’s rebate-eligible appliances include:

- Gas condensing water heaters - $150
- Gas storage water heaters - $100
- Gas tankless water heaters - $100
- Electric heat pump water heaters - $150
- Solar water heaters - $500
- Gas furnaces - $125
- Central air conditioners - $100
- Air source heat pumps - $250
