Guam: Cash For Appliances Rebate Program

The U.S. territory of Guam will offer a rebate program this spring to help residents replace older, inefficient appliances with energy-efficient appliances.
The territory will offer mail-in rebates toward the purchase of Energy Star-qualified appliances. The program is tentatively scheduled to begin on April 24.
Eligible appliances include:
Guam will receive about $166,000 of the nearly $300 million in stimulus funding available nationwide from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).For more information on the Cash for Appliances program, visit the Guam Energy Office Web site or call 671-646-4361.
