Peoria, IL -- (Sports Network) - Taylor Brown deposited 16 points and the Bradley Braves nipped the Wofford Terriers, 56-54, in the first round of the Las Vegas Invitational at Carver Arena. Brown, who grabbed eight boards, saw his first action after being suspended for Bradley's (2-1) first two games for violating team rules. Chris Roberts also got into the mix, posting 13 points and nine boards in the win. Wofford (2-2) was led by Junior Salters, who scored 15 points and collected five rebounds. Noah Dahlman also finished with double figures, netting 11 points in the losing cause. Neither team shot well in the opening half and Wofford's three three-pointers helped it to open a slim 22-20 edge at halftime. Bradley came out strong in the second half and grabbed a 12-point lead with 12 minutes remaining. The Terriers rallied and pulled within one before Warren's steal and dunk with 4.2 seconds put the game away for the Braves in the two- point win. The Braves ended up shooting 41.7 percent from the floor, meanwhile, Wofford made just 33.3 percent of its attempts from the field.
