NCAA Game Summary - Detroit Vs. Robert Morris

Albany, NY -- (Sports Network) - Thomas Kennedy tallied 19 points and five rebounds and the Detroit Titans defeated the Robert Morris Colonials, 71-59, as part of Coaches vs. Cancer Classic from Albany. Eli Holman added 14 points and eight boards for the Titans (2-1), while Xavier Keeling and Chase Simon chipped in with 13 and 12 points, respectively. Rob Robinson guided Robert Morris (0-3) in defeat with 14 points, and Jimmy Langhurst got involved with 10 points of his own. With the score knotted at 21-21, Detroit scored six unanswered points and carried a 39-31 lead to the break. The Titans led by as many as 13 points in the second half and sealed the victory with an 11-of-14 effort at the foul line over the final six minutes. Detroit won the game at the foul line, where it went 25-of-32 in the game. Robert Morris, meanwhile, finished just 11-of-16 at the stripe.
