Seth Vandeest had 13 points and Josh Young added 10 for the Bulldogs (1-1).

Joe Dukes led all scorers with 20 points for the Panthers (0-2). Trae Goldston contributed 16 points and Ousman Krubally added a game-high 13 rebounds in defeat.

Drake jumped out to a 9-2 lead and went into halftime up by eight. A Vandeest jumper pushed the advantage to 55-37 with 6:54 to go before the Bulldogs cruised the rest of the way.
