NCAA Game Summary - Illinois-Chicago At Youngstown State

Youngstown, OH -- (Sports Network) - Rob Eppinger posted 20 points and 14 rebounds to lead the seventh-seeded Illinois-Chicago Flames to a 73-68 triumph over the sixth-seeded Youngstown State Penguins in Horizon League action. Tori Boyd and Robo Kreps added 15 points apiece for Illinois-Chicago (16-14), which will take on third-seeded Cleveland State in the second round. The Flames also got 14 points and six assists from Josh Mayo. Vytas Sulskis poured in 20 points off the bench in the loss for Youngstown State (11-19). The Penguins also received 15 points from Tom Parks. UIC shot 50 percent from the floor in the first half, including 5-of-9 from three-point range, and led 35-25 at intermission. The Flames knocked down 14-of-15 free throws in the second half to seal the win. Illinois-Chicago finished the game with a 40-30 rebounding advantage.
