St. Thomas, VI -- (Sports Network) - Jeremiah Kelly posted 18 points to lead DePaul past Northern Iowa, 60-52, at the Paradise Jam.

Mac Koshwal recorded 12 points and a game-best 19 rebounds for the Blue Demons (2-0).

Ali Farokhmanesh tallied 12 points for the Panthers (1-1), who got nine points from Kwadzo Ahelegbe and Adam Koch in the loss.

The Panthers led 32-27 at the half, and extended their lead to as much as 44-38 with 10:20 remaining until Koshwal's tip-in keyed a 19-5 run which gave DePaul the edge for good.

Koshwal's jumper with 4:29 left gave the Demons the lead and four Kelly free throws in the final seconds pushed the advantage to 57-49.
