NCAA Game Summary - Oral Roberts Vs. Murray State

San Juan, PR -- (Sports Network) - Danero Thomas netted 16 points, as the Murray State Racers nipped the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles, 78-76, in the second round of the San Juan Shootout at the Mario Morales Coliseum. Ivan Aska and Donte Poole each scored 12 points for the Racers (6-4), while Issac Miles and Tyler Holloway had 10 points apiece in the winning effort. Marcus Lewis led Oral Roberts (2-10) and all players with his double-double of 26 points and 11 rebounds. Robert Jarvis puts forth 15 points, while Dominique Morrison and Kevin Ford contributed 13 and 11 points, respectively. The Racers took a 44-38 lead to the break, but had to hold off a late charge from Eagles for the two-point victory. Murray State shot 45.2 percent from the floor in the game and it also went 19- of-23 at the foul line. Oral Roberts, on the other hand, made only 39.1 percent of its attempts from the field and just 6-of-21 from three-point range.
