Little Rock, AR -- (Sports Network) - Casey Dick's 24-yard touchdown pass to London Crawford on a 4th-and-1 with 21 seconds remaining lifted the Arkansas Razorbacks to a 31-30 win over the LSU Tigers in SEC action at War Memorial Stadium. Dick stepped in for his brother, Nathan, and went 18-of-29 for 197 yards and two TDs for Arkansas (5-7, 2-6 SEC). Dennis Johnson ran for 127 yards and a touchdown in the win. Jordan Jefferson became the first freshman to start at quarterback for LSU (7-5, 3-5) since 1995. He completed 9-of-21 passes for 143 yards and two TDs. The Razorbacks drove right down the field on their opening possession, with Johnson finding the end zone on a 17-yard run. LSU answered with three points on a Colt David 29-yard field goal. Arkansas extended its lead minutes later, when Nathan Dick found Andrew Davie for a one-yard touchdown pass. But the Tigers took over in the second quarter. Charles Scott capped an 11-play, 73-yard drive with a five-yard touchdown run to cut the deficit to 14-10 with 11:25 remaining in the second quarter. With just under seven minutes to play in the half, David booted a 46-yard field goal to make it a one-point game. LSU took the lead on an 11-yard scoring strike from Jefferson to Richard Dickson at the 1:17 mark of the second quarter. After an interception, the Tigers got the ball back and were able to add three more points on a 31-yard field goal by David just before the end of the half. The Tigers opened the second half with a quick scoring drive, punctuated by Jefferson's 32-yard touchdown pass to Brandon LaFell to put LSU on top, 30-14. But from there it was all Razorbacks. Casey Dick tossed a 46-yard touchdown pass to Jarius Wright midway through the quarter to make it a 30-21 game. Early in the fourth quarter, Arkansas kicker Alex Tejada capped a 17-play, 90- yard drive with a 22-yard field goal to pull the Razorbacks to within six. The drive took 8:33 off the clock and seemed to tire the LSU defense, which later surrendered the game-winning touchdown after an 11-play, 69-yard drive in the final minutes. Arkansas managed to win despite converting just 3-of-14 third downs for the game.
