NCAA Game Summary - Bowling Green At Ohio University

(Sports Network) - Tyler Sheehan completed 22-of-29 passes for 207 yards and two touchdowns, as the Bowling Green Falcons cruised to a 28-3 win over the Ohio University Bobcats in Mid-American Conference action at Peden Stadium.

With the Falcons (5-5, 3-3 MAC) struggling on the ground (2.7 ypc), Sheehan carried the offense by completing passes to eight different receivers.

OU (2-8, 1-5) quarterbacks Boo Jackson and Brandon Jones combined to go 13- of-30 for 188 yards and two interceptions.

Sheehan put the Falcons on the scoreboard first with an eight-yard touchdown strike to Jermiah Kelley at the 6:11 mark of the opening quarter.

Midway through the second quarter, Falcons backup quarterback Andrew Beam came in and threw a 22-yard touchdown pass to Sheehan to put Bowling Green ahead, 14-0.

The Bobcats got on the board at the 8:54 mark of the third quarter, when Barrett Way connected on a 21-yard field goal. But it was all Falcons the rest of the way.

Beam surged forward for a two-yard touchdown with just under two minutes remaining in the third quarter.

Jackson was intercepted on the second play of the ensuing possession, and three plays later, Sheehan supplied the dagger a four-yard touchdown pass to Marques Parks.

OU was held to 228 yards of total offense, including just 40 yards (1.4 ypc) on the ground.
