Durham, NH -- Ricky Santos rushed 14 times for 165 yards and a touchdown, and John McCoy ran for 117 yards and three scores, as top-ranked New Hampshire routed No. 24 Colgate, 55-21, in the opening round of the Division I-AA playoffs. Santos also completed 18-of-27 passes for 252 yards with three touchdowns and an interception for the Wildcats (11-1), who advanced to the quarterfinals for a home game against Northern Iowa next Saturday. David Ball had nine receptions for 173 yards and three TDs for New Hampshire, which led 34-0 at halftime before cruising. Jordan Scott rushed 33 times for 205 yards and three scores for the Raiders (8-4). Colgate quarterback Mike Saraceno was held in check most of the day, as he completed just 17-of-40 passes for 155 yards and was picked off four times.
