School Board Considers Future Of Principal Charged With DUI
Closed Meeting Scheduled Monday, Open Meeting Later This Week

FISHERS, Ind. -- A high school principal accused of drunken driving could find out this week if he will keep his job.Fishers High School Principal Scott Syverson was pulled over in late December for alleged drunken driving. He was not arrested at the time. Instead, a police officer drove him home.

The Hamilton County prosecutor later charged Syverson with two counts of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.The Hamilton Southeastern School Board will hold a closed meeting on Monday where it is expected they will take up the matter.Syverson was suspended with pay in the wake of the incident, which was captured on an officer's in-car camera.A public meeting concerning Syverson's future is set for 8:30 a.m. Thursday.
