November 20-Free Diabetic Foot Screening: Riverview Diabetic Education Center and Indiana Podiatry Group are collaborating to offer free diabetic foot screenings and diabetic health information. November 20-Free Screening for Prostate and Oral Cancer: Little Red Door Cancer Agency and Good Samaritan Health Clinic will host a free screening for prostate and oral cancer on Friday, November 20, 2009 from 2:00-6:00 pm at Good Samaritan Health Clinic, located at 11 Eastern Avenue, Indianapolis, IN (one block west of Rural St. and just east of Washington St.). Pre-registration is required. Other health screenings that will be available at this event are blood pressure screenings, blood sugar screenings, vision screenings, and colo-rectal screenings (hemoccult kits). This year’s Jingle Bell Run/Walk will start at the Indiana State Museum and run through the streets of downtown. The event offers a 5K timed run and a 5K fun walk.
