Timberlake Perplexed About Britney's Choices
Singer Says He Hasn't Spoken With Ex-Girlfriend In Years

CHICAGO -- Singer Justin Timberlake said that he thinks the world of Britney Spears, but he has no insight into what's triggering her bad choices lately.Timberlake told "The Oprah Winfrey Show" he hasn't spoken with Spears in years, even though they dated for three years."I think she's a great person," Timberlake said. "And I don't know her as well as I did."
Spears is in the spotlight lately over her maligned appearance the MTV Video Music Awards, and her ongoing custody fight for her children with Kevin Federline.Then this week, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Scott Gordon also ordered both Spears and Federline to refrain from drinking and using drugs around their two young sons.They're also forbidden from drinking or doing drugs 12 hours before either one cares for the children.Timberlake said that he doesn't have any idea why Spears is acting the way she is lately."What I do know about her is she has a huge heart," he said.
