In Touch magazine is reporting Britney Spears is pregnant, but Spears' friend, Sam Lufti, denies that claim, reported WMAQ-TV in Chicago.

After wrapping Spears' latest video shoot, Lufti -- apparently in the car with Spears -- texted Ryan Seacrest regarding the pregnancy rumors, saying, "It's B.S. Don't know who made it up. J.R. doesn't even know what's up. It's fake."

In Touch magazine claims that Britney Spears confided to her friends in e-mails that she was four weeks pregnant, even attaching a copy of her ultrasound.

The magazine reports the father is music producer J.R. Rotem.

Earlier this summer, Rotem boasted to Blender magazine about his on-and-off fling with Spears and made some lewd jokes.

Rotem told the magazine that the pair "decided for both our careers that it would not be cool to have a romantic relationship," according to CelebTV.

According to reports, Rotem said the pregnancy rumors are true.

Spears' rep could not be reached for comment.

The pop singer has two children with her ex-husband, dancer Kevin Federline, and is currently involved in a custody dispute over them.
