Lohan's Parents Slam Accident Report

Actress Reportedly Sideswiped Outside Club

UPDATED: 9:35 am EDT July 28, 2008

Lindsay Lohan's parents said a report about the actress being sideswiped by a motorcyclist outside of a New York City club is bogus.

The New York Post reported Sunday that Lohan was hospitalized after the incident, and got confirmation from an employee of Beth Israel Medical Center that someone named Lindsay Lohan was there.

But in a report in the Post Monday, Lohan's father, Michael Lohan, set the record straight after speaking with star's mother, Dina Lohan.

"Dina said it was just gossip," Michael Lohan told the Post. "I don't think that anything actually happened."

He added that Dina Lohan called the report "bull doodie."

Lindsay Lohan's publicist, Leslie Sloane, also denied the report.

"I asked her and she said it didn't happen," Sloane said. "She says she wasn't (at the hospital)."

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly in New York City filming her guest appearances on the sitcom "Ugly Betty."
