(CNN) -- It looks like Kim Kardashian's been bitten by the acting bug.The reality star will continue her foray into scripted drama with a multiple episode arc on the fourth season of Lifetime's "Drop Dead Diva."According to The Hollywood Reporter, Kardashian will play April Bowlby's (Stacy Barrett) new business partner, Nikki.
"I'm ecstatic to welcome Kim to the 'Diva' family," the show's creator and executive producer Josh Berman told THR. "In discussing the role of Nikki with her, I'm blown away by her smarts, sense of humor and passion. This series is all about reinvention and I'm so excited to see Kim 'reinvented' in the world of 'Drop Dead Diva.'"She'll make her "Diva" debut on the show's season premiere this summer. And, as reported by THR earlier this month, Kardashian will play herself in a February episode of ABC's "Last Man Standing."Then it's on to the big screen. The E! star will appear in Tyler Perry's "The Marriage Counselor" - to hit theaters on July 27.Here's hoping Kardashian has improved since her acting debut in 2008's "Disaster Movie," for which she was nominated for a Razzie Award for worst supporting actress.
