KATY PERRY has been named Billboard magazine's Woman of the Year.
The pop star will be feted at the seventh annual Women in Music event, which celebrates the most powerful and talented women in the music business, in New York at the end of November (30Nov12).
Previous recipients of the Woman of the Year prize have included Beyonce and Taylor Swift.
