KIM KARDASHIAN's face was left dripping with blood as she underwent a gory beauty treatment for her reality TV show.

The socialite was seen grimacing in pain during the operation, in which surgeons took blood from her arm and reconditioned it before injecting it into her face using numerous tiny needles.

The painful procedure was filmed for reality TV show Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, and Kardashian also posted pictures of her bloodied features on her Twitter.com page, calling it a "vampire facial".

In footage from the show, she explained, "I love trying anything that makes you look and feel youthful."
