Pop star LADY GAGA has confessed to battling bulimia and anorexia since she was 15.

The Born This Way hitmaker has been bombarded by cruel comments about her figure over the last few days after less-than flattering photos of the singer performing in the Netherlands emerged online.

However, she recently brushed off the criticism about her weight during a post on her LittleMonsters.com website, writing, "My weight/loss/gain since I was (a) child has tormented me. No amount of help has ever healed my pain about it. But you (fans) have... I'm happy. Happier then I've ever been. I am not going to go on a psycho-spree because of scrutiny. This is who I am. And I am proud at any size."

And now the 26 year old has admitted to struggling with an eating disorder over the past decade by posting a snapshot of herself wearing only yellow panties and a matching bra on Twitter.com, alongside a message which reads, "(I've battled) bulimia and anorexia since I was 15."

Gaga announced the revelation on Tuesday (25Sep12) to inspire and encourage teens to embrace their flaws, asking fans to post their own unflattering personal photos.
