Singer/actress MANDY MOORE is in no rush to start a family with her rocker husband RYAN ADAMS because she's happy playing mom to their rescue pets.

The Tangled star has taken in two cats and a dog since marrying Adams in 2009 and she admits the furry friends are more than enough for them to handle just now - although she "definitely" wants to have kids in "a couple of years".

She adds, "I'm 28, so I think I have time... We're enjoying the animal children first."

And Moore is eager to brush up on her culinary skills before she has to feed a baby of her own.

She tells UsMagazine.com, "I don't cook very well at all. I'm the girl that can't make scrambled eggs."
