GLEE star MATTHEW MORRISON showed off his patriotic side on Thursday (25Oct12) by singing the national anthem at the World Series.
The actor/singer was invited to perform the Star Spangled Banner during the second game of the baseball tournament in San Francisco, California between the Detroit Tigers and the San Francisco Giants.
Before his big performance, Morrison tweeted, "Excited to be singing the National Anthem at Game 2 of the World Series."
He follows reigning American Idol winner Phillip Phillips, who sang at game one on Wednesday (24Oct12). Demi Lovato will tackle the task in Detroit on Saturday (27Oct12).
