Executives behind one of ROBIN WILLIAMS' final films face the prospect of cutting the late star's contribution to the movie amid reports suggesting the part was not completed at the time of his death.
Williams loaned his voice to the animated character of Dennis the Dog in Absolutely Anything, a live-action British comedy starring Simon Pegg and Kate Beckinsale, which is slated for release in 2015.
Editors of Britain's Daily Telegraph newspaper report the part had not been completed prior to Williams' death in an apparent suicide this week (beg11Aug14), and movie chiefs are considering bringing in another actor to re-record the scenes.
The film's star Pegg says of the situation, "I'm not sure Robin had completed doing his voice in the movie. He was doing the voice of the dog and I hope he had completed it because it would be a real shame not to have him in it. And of course there will be a degree of sadness there, but the work he did do would have been done with his usual verve and brilliance... It's a terrible loss."
