TAYLOR SWIFT was thrilled when British singer ED SHEERAN had a tattoo inked on his arm in her honor.

The pop star joined forces with The A Team hitmaker to write and record a track called Everything Has Changed for her new album, Red, and Sheeran marked their collaboration with some new body art.

He had the album's title inked on his arm last month (Oct12) and Swift was delighted with the nod.

In an interview on U.K. talk show Alan Carr: Chatty Man, she says, "He has a tattoo on his arm and it says Red, which is after my new album. I think that is the coolest thing ever. I love that. I mean, it's permanent."

Sheeran is an avid fan of tattoos and previously revealed he goes under the needle to commemorate new countries he visits on tour: "It's become a habit - I've been getting a tattoo in almost every single American state and different country around the world I've been touring in."

Swift's appearance on Chatty Man airs in the U.K. on Friday night (09Nov12).
