TAYLOR SWIFT avoids talking about the trappings of fame with her superstar pals, insisting they enjoy normal chats and never "talk shop".

The country sweetheart is close to a number of celebrities, especially Selena Gomez and Emma Stone, but admits that they are just like normal pals, and mainly discuss relationships.

She tells Britain's The Sun, "I have friends from all fields - people who are in school, actresses and singers. It's surprising how we don't talk shop.

"You'd think we'd get together and discuss the stresses of fame but we actually just talk about boys like all the other girls. We don't run through each other's scripts or compare set lists."

But her links to stars such as Gwyneth Paltrow make Swift think twice about bringing her celebrity-packed cell phone with her on nights out.

She adds, "(The most famous person in my phone is) Gwyneth Paltrow. But it means I have a strict rule that I don't have my phone on me when I drink!"
