Singer VINCE GILL is celebrating after landing double honors at the 2012 ICM Faith, Family & Country Awards on Thursday (18Oct12).

The star claimed Mainstream Country Artist and Mainstream Inspirational Country Song for Threaten Me with Heaven at the Inspirational Country Music Association's 18th annual prizegiving, while Chuck Day was named Entertainer of the Year.

Chuck Hancock and Laura Dodd claimed the male and female vocalist accolades, and Video of the Year went to Steve Richard for Loves Gotta Go Somewhere.

Branded was awarded the Vocal Duo title; Vocal Group or Band was claimed by Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, and sibling duo The Roys was feted as Inspirational Bluegrass Artist.

The Christian ceremony took place at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee and featured performances from John Berry, Crawford Crossing, Hancock and The Roys.
