It may seem out of place at the Indiana Statehouse, but Gov. Mitch Daniels is flying a New Orleans Saints flag as part of a Super Bowl bet.

The black and gold team flag will sit next to the Indiana state flag outside of Daniels' office for seven days, per a friendly wager with Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal.

"As in your state, here in Indiana, a deal is a deal," Daniels wrote in a letter to Jindal. "So I put the Saints flag you sent on display … in the atrium of our beautiful state capitol, where visitors, employees and legislators will all get a good look at it."

Daniels also joked that he would hold daily demonstrations on how to cover an onside kick, something the Indianapolis Colts failed to do when the team lost in the Super Bowl to New Orleans, 17-31.
