Looking to brighten those pearly whites?

A study that took place in West Palm Beach put the two top-selling teeth whitening products to the test.

They found that Crest Whitestrips came out on top, proving to be five times more effective than Colgate's Simply White paint-on gel.

 SURVEY
Have you tried teeth-whitening strips?
Yes, I've tried Crest Whitestrips.
Yes, I've tried another brand.
No, but I've tried whitening toothpaste.
No, but I've tried other whitening techniques.
No, my dentist is the only teeth-whitener I have.
"Ninety-four percent of the Crest Whitestrips users had what is commonly thought to be meaningful whitening, compared to only a few people in the Colgate Simply White group," said Dr. Ingvar Magnusson. "Simply White only stays on the teeth for a few minutes before it's washed away by saliva."

The American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry reports that in the last five years, the demand for teeth whitening has grown by more 300 percent.
