At-risk residents of both Marion and Hamilton counties have some more chances to get a dose of the H1N1 vaccine for free within the next couple of days.

Marion County is holding a clinic on Wednesday and on Thursday, both at Lafayette Square Mall.

Wednesday's clinic is set to run from 3 to 7 p.m., while Thursday's clinic is set from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Hamilton County's first public H1N1 clinic is scheduled for Wednesday at the county's fairgrounds from 4 to 8 p.m., or until an allotment of 500 doses of vaccine has been exhausted.

Marion County plans another clinic on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the cafeteria of Warren Central High School.

Long lines are expected for all the clinics, which are only intended for people deemed most at-risk for contracting and becoming seriously ill from the flu.

Those in the at-risk group include pregnant women, people who live with or care for children age 6 months or younger and anyone age 6 months to 24. People between the ages of 25 to 64 who also have a chronic medical condition are also in the at-risk group.

People who want to get the shot or mist inoculation were urged to dress warmly because they may have to stand outside.
