The award is presented each Friday during the news at 6 p.m. to Hoosiers who are making a difference in their communities.

If you know someone who stands out, we would like to acknowledge him or her!

We're looking for those who:

• Initiates or creates solutions
• Motivates and benefits others
• Makes sacrifices
• Makes a difference
• Leads on an on-going basis; sets an example and is a role model
• Fills a need
• Goes outside and beyond the scope of his/her job
• Does his/her work on a not-for-profit basis
• Does not profit from a charitable organization
• Solves problems
• Goes above the call of duty and successfully follows through
• Is focused and actively involved

The criteria for the RTV6 Leadership Award was determined by a committee.

The panel is flexible in selecting leaders, understanding that no one person could fulfill all the criteria. Each nomination is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
