FISHERS, Ind. -- One of the greatest restaurants to come out of Chicago will be opening right here in central Indiana this fall.
Portillo's, popular for its hotdogs, burgers and other Chicago-style foods, will be opening their next location in Fishers.
The company shared the cheeky announcement on their website on Thursday.
It’s official. Portillo’s is coming to Fishers, Indiana!
If you’ve never been to Portillo’s, we’d relish the chance to serve you our legendary lunch and dinner. We think you’ll agree that our food truly cuts the mustard.
So, what was it about Indy that made us want to race there?
- We’re both fast. Don’t let the long lines fool you; you’ll be eating your meal quicker than you can say “start your engines.”
- Our drive-thru is kind of like the Motor Speedway. But you won’t have to do 200 laps to get your fresh food made to order.
- Milk tastes great at the end of any great win (or after a slice of our delicious chocolate cake, baked fresh every day). Portillo’s and Indy. It’s a win-win!
Food fans in Indy can now enjoy the best Italian beef sandwiches, Chicago-style hot dogs, char-grilled burgers, fresh salads, cheese fries, and of course, our world famous chocolate cake in a lively atmosphere. Offering anything less would land us in hot water.
According to a job posting on Zip Recruiter earlier this year, the popular Chicago-style eatery is looking to hire all levels of management and paying up to $80,000 annually based on experience.
The company has not officially set an opening day but they say they plan open at the new location sometime this fall.
