SPEEDWAY, Ind. – The owners of a popular barbecue restaurant opened a new Mexican eatery in Speedway Tuesday.
Tacos and Tequila on Main, operated by the staff at Barbecue and Bourbon on Main, opened at 1502 Main Street and served up their favorites like tacos, burritos and Mexican desserts.
Despite the name, the restaurant won’t have tequila available for a few weeks because their liquor license hearing is not scheduled until Aug. 8.
Although the drinks aren’t flowing just yet, soft drinks will be available.
The menu also includes spicy pesto guacamole, tex mex nachos, tortas and more.
