INDIANAPOLIS – Following a 12-year hiatus, the Taste of Broad Ripple will return this summer.

Made possible by the Broad Ripple Village Association, Do317 and The Vogue, the Taste of Broad Ripple will bring some of the city’s best food, beer and live music into the streets of Broad Ripple on June 17 from 3-10 p.m.

Food vendors include: Thr3e Wise Men, Flatwater Restaurant, Jazz Kitchen, BRICS Ice Cream, The Northside Social, La Chinita Poblana, Garden Table, Yats, Delicia / La Mulita, 317 Burger, Vanguard, BurgerFuel and more.

"I'm really excited about bringing back the Taste of Broad Ripple,” said Steven Ross, festival organizer. “The Taste is a great way to show everybody what Broad Ripple Village has – a cool entertaining atmosphere, a variety of tasty cuisine and great craft beer! Come experience the flavor that is (the Taste of) Broad Ripple."

Organizers said the festival, taking place in the 6300 block of Guilford Avenue, will have something for everyone, including children. It will feature a kids pizza making contest and a kids only area with a bounce house, Colts interactive museum and face painting.

Adults can grab some liquid courage from the Monarch Beverage and Yuengling Beer Garden, cheer on chefs during the cook-off and sing-a-long to the tunes blasting from The Colts Stage.

Free shuttles will run throughout festival hours to and from the Glendale Mall parking lot. Organizers say additional parking is to be determined.

Tickets will be $7 at the gate (cash only) the day of the event and can also be purchased online at ticketfly.com. Ten percent of all ticket sales will benefit Second Helpings.
