INDIANAPOLIS -- Thirty-five years ago this week, the Indianapolis Children's Museum held a microcomputer festival for children and adults of all ages.

Nearly 12,000 visitors made it to the weekend event, which featured computer programs developed to help children develop math, language and problem-solving skills.

One of the highlights? Early video game programming on Atari-like games.

RTV6 reporter Mindy Mintz was there to experience all of the cutting-edge technology firsthand.
