INDIANAPOLIS -- An Indiana nonprofit organization is offering to send your loved ones some 'puppy love' this Valentine's Day.

Operation Puppy Love sends service dogs in training throughout Indianapolis, delivering Valentine's Day gifts to your loved ones. Their special boxes contain all types of items, including sweets and one-of-a-kind doggy art.

“We put canvases down, and tons of paint and the dogs just go crazy,” said Director of Indiana Canine Assistance Network Jillian Ashton.

The Puppy Love Valentine gift boxes cost $50 and will be paw-delivered Feb. 13 and 14.

Indiana Canine Assistance Network (ICAN) is a nonprofit that trains and matches service dogs with those who need them. The dogs are placed with inmates from three Indiana prisons who are taught how to train the dogs to help people with disabilities.

“We bring hope to people that they can succeed right where they are. Whether they made a mistake and they find themselves in prison or if they are living with a disability and they feel that the world is a smaller place for them to be,” said Ashton.

Puppy Love deliveries are available year-round, but Valentine's Day is always one of their biggest holidays.
