INDIANAPOLIS - The need is up, but the donations are down.
RTV6 would like to thank everyone who has already donated to our annual Toy Drive, but overall donations this year were down 20 percent.
Because of the increased need, RTV6 has extended the Toy Drive to run through this Thursday.
New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off at the RTV6 studios at 1330 N. Meridian St. between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. through Thursday.
The greatest toy need is for older girls, ages 10-12. Makeup, nail kits and jewelry-making kits are good gift ideas for girls that age.
Cash can also be donated, and RTV6 will shop for toys to fulfill the need.
