Tribe Move Elarton To DL

Detroit, MI -- (Sports Network) - The Cleveland Indians transferred Scott Elarton to the 15-day disabled list with a non-baseball medical condition.

The right-hander was originally placed on the restricted list June 30 after informing the team he needed to leave for personal reasons.

Elarton has appeared in eight games this season, compiling an 0-1 record with a 3.52 earned run average.
