The Internal Revenue Service paid eight claims worth $34,157 before detecting the scheme.Crisp was also ordered to repay the claims.Prosecutors said Crisp tried to hide her actions by shredding office files for those returns. In addition to the prison sentence and repayment, Crisp will also be on probation for three years.
