Another Store Leaving Lafayette Square Mall
J.C. Penney Store Leaving At End Of Year

INDIANAPOLIS -- There's more bad news for shoppers at Lafayette Square Mall on the city's west side.
The anchor department store, J.C. Penney, is closing Dec. 31, RTV6 reported.
A company spokesperson said the store has been labeled as an "underperformer."
The store's nearly 100 employees will be given a chance to move to the stores at Castleton Square Mall or Greenwood Mall, officials said.
Lazarus closed its store at Lafayette Square Mall in April.
