If you feel you're not getting enough sleep it could be because of your mattress, not your schedule.
Experts say when shopping for new mattress, there are lots of options to consider but it's important to take your time to find the perfect match.
One thing to keep in mind is that mattresses need to be replaced every eight years.
Lauren Taylor with Holder Mattress said that most mattresses need to be replaced every eight years.
"There are going to be some mattresses that won't last eight years and there are going to be some mattresses that last twice that long. It really comes down to the quality of mattress that you purchase," Taylor said.
Angie's List Founder Angie Hicks said that there are some myths linked to mattresses simply aren’t true.
"The warning on a mattress tag can be pretty daunting, but the truth is once you buy the mattress and you want to remove the tag, you can. Keep in mind, a lot of times that tag is necessary for the warranty to stay intact," Hicks said.
Also, most mattresses don't need to be flipped, as modern mattresses are one-sided.
Finally, when buying a mattress, lie down for at least 10 minutes to gauge your comfort level and always ask about the store's return or exchange policy.
