NEWPORT, Ky. - Kroger officials announced on Friday that they are clipping double coupons from the stores' lineup of discount programs.
Instead, company officials said they have invested several million dollars to lower prices on 3,500 items throughout the store.
Although the store will no longer honor double coupons, the grocery chain said it will keep the fuel points program and promote faster checkouts for customers.
