CINCINNATI - There's something special about giving a fashion gift for someone they wouldn't buy for themselves. They're not necessities, but rather accessories and make for a great gift.
But accessories can get pricey, so we found ways to be sure you're not "Wasting Your Holiday Money."
If you are looking for fashion accessories, there's no one better to shop with than Megan Fenno, from Cincy Savers.
We accompanied her to Target to find some fun holiday gift combos. She went right for a purse, sparkly watch and scarf.
"It is something that can go with everything. You can wear it with red, blue, black, anything -- and also you can use it all year round so it's a great present," said Fenno.
The trio she picked out won't break the bank:
"Accessories are always fun to receive and it's a little bit more personal than a gift card," said Fenno.
Even less expensive: A gloves, hat and scarf combo. The hat rings up at $12.99 and the gloves at $10.99.
"The hat, not only is it cute, but it's also a neutral color that can go with many different options," said Fenno.
Fenno says neutral is always a safe bet when buying for someone else. Another one of her favorite gifts is necklaces and a great addition to this gift is a jewelry tree. The ones we found at Target were $17-- but you can sometimes find them cheaper at Hobby Lobby, HomeGoods or even Michaels.
Obviously we all can't have Fenno with us when we shop. That's where it sometimes make sense to enlist the help of a sales associate, who can help find accessories that work together.
