Minnesota Timberwolves (1-11) At Portland Trail Blazers (9-5), 10 P.M.

(Sports Network) - The Portland Trail Blazers aim for their 11th straight win over the hapless Minnesota Timberwolves tonight when the Northwest Division rivals meet at the Rose Garden.

The Blazers, who are kicking off a four-game homestand, are coming off a bad loss in Oakland on Friday. Monta Ellis played all 48 minutes and carried Golden State with 34 points, eight assists and six steals in that one, as the Warriors topped Portland, 108-94, despite playing just eight players.

Rudy Fernandez paced the Trail Blazers with 19 points, while Brandon Roy ended with 17 in the club's ninth straight loss at Oracle Arena. Greg Oden chipped in 16 points and six rebounds.

Portland, which is 4-2 as the host, will also welcome Chicago, New Jersey and Memphis on its residency.

The woeful Wolves, meanwhile, lost their 11th straight game to Houston in Minneapolis on Wednesday when Luis Scola poured in 20 points and grabbed 16 rebounds, as the Rockets handed Minnesota a 97-84 setback.

Al Jefferson returned to the lineup for the Timberwolves after missing two games due to the death of his grandmother and tallied 20 points and 10 rebounds. Ramon Sessions added 16 points and five assists off the bench for Minnesota.

"I didn't feel like they were ready to play. They should have brought more energy. They played a team that played last night. They did in small pockets and short periods of time but they didn't sustain it," said Minnesota head coach Kurt Rambis.

The Wolves season started in a positive manner with a 95-93 win over New Jersey on Oct. 28, but the team has dropped 11 in a row since, including two to the Blazers. Portland downed the Timberwolves 116-93 on Nov. 8 and triumphs again, 107-84, in Minneapolis just three days later.
