Police in Shelby County on Saturday asked for help from the public to find a man who has been missing for two months.

Walter Smith Jr., 42, disappeared from his home in Flat Rock. Investigators said there was no sign of struggle and that all of his personal belongings were left behind.

Smith, who also goes by the name of Tom, was in the process of opening a business in Edinburgh.

Smith is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall and 205 pounds. He was last seen driving a black 2000 Daewoo Leganza with paper tag J045763.

Police asked anyone with information about Smith to call the Shelby County Sheriff’s Department at 888-387-1441.
