The following is a statement from State Farm regarding a story aired by 6News on Feb. 12 at 6 p.m.:It is always our goal to pay what we owe and we evaluate each claim on a case by case basis. Of the 45,000 homeowners claims we've received from this hail storm, we have closed 85 percent of them with payment.We understand there may still be a small number of customers who disagree with our decision on their claim. We have voluntarily developed an arbitration process to address our customers' concerns. If a customer is still unsatisfied with the resolution of their claim, they can contact their agent or claim representative to determine if arbitration is appropriate.
