INDIANAPOLIS -- A state Web site security breach in which thousands of Social Security numbers and credit card numbers were exposed may have been a prank by a teenager, the Indiana Office of Technology said Thursday.Investigators have identified a teen they believe hacked into IN.gov and gained access to Social Security numbers for 71,000 health-care workers and credit card information of about 5,600 people and businesses, the office said."It appears like it was a teenage hacker that was out just trying to prove something," the office's Gerry Weaver said. The suspect's identity has not been released. Investigators have begun to pursue criminal charges, according to the office.
