Police said a 16-year-old boy, who was a passenger in the car, told his parents what happened and then came forward with an attorney. The 16-year-old boy was not immediately arrested, but police said they consider him to be a witness. Osborne did not come forward, but police said his story matched up with the story they got from the 16-year-old boy.Investigators in Indiana and Illinois are still looking for the 18-year-old man who they said fired the fatal shot. Police said they think robbery was the motive for the shooting, but Anderson's wallet was not taken.Police said Osborne was arrested after an interview with police, during which he cooperated. Detectives also found the gun they think was used in the shooting because of information they got from Osborne.Anderson, 58, was shot once in the chest as he arrived at work at 5 a.m. at the store, on Indianapolis' southwest side.Bob Moder, a Kroger representative, said Anderson's death was "a loss ... for the entire community.""Wendall Anderson was tremendous. He was a dedicated employee. He worked for us for 39 years," Moder said. "We've spoken with Wendall's wife, and we've expressed to her our deepest sympathy."
