“As a consumer reporter and investigator, I focus on alerting people about scams, rip-offs and con artists and assisting in cutting through red tape to get results.”Sanchez joined RTV6 in 1998 after working at TV stations in Arizona and Texas.Over the years, he has received a number of Emmy nominations and other awards for excellence in consumer reporting. In fact, his work has earned him the Best Consumer Reporting award from 2006 to 2008 from the Society of Professional Journalists.
Originally from Bronx, New York, Franklin College attracted Sanchez to Indiana. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in three majors: Journalism, Political Science and Spanish.He enjoys working with a number of not-for-profit groups, raising money through ballroom dancing events and is blessed everyday by his wife and children.Want to drop Rafael a line?
