SHELBYVILLE, Ind. -- Police have arrested a man they said was involved in the death of a man found electrocuted in a Shelby County cornfield June 8.Gary Olds, 52, is charged with manslaughter and attempted theft.Police said David Hoagland, of Edinburgh, died while he and Olds attempted to steal copper wire.
A passerby found Hoagland's body along County Road 125 West, near State Road 252 earlier this month.Olds was taken into custody Monday at a gas station in Bartholomew County. He is charged with manslaughter, attempted theft, criminal recklessness and obstruction of justice.
