Police Have Persons Of Interest In Girl's Killing

COLUMBUS, Ind. -- Police said Saturday that they are questioning persons of interest in the slaying of a 14-year-old girl who was found dead in an apartment on Friday.Investigators told 6News' Cheryl Jackson that they expect to make an arrest this weekend after the death of Chelsea Porter.Porter was found dead in an apartment where she was spending the night with a family friend.
Investigators have not released much information about what led to her death, but said she had been stabbed multiple times.Police said they don't think the attack was random."I hope the person who did it has some remorse," said the woman Porter was staying with, who didn't wish to be identified.Columbus police have been going door-to-door in the neighborhood in search of clues to help solve the case.
